Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Every mosque gets a 30-day free trial of Pro with all features unlocked. No credit card required. After the trial, stay on the free plan or upgrade to Pro.
Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?
Yes. Upgrade to Pro whenever you're ready, and cancel anytime from your billing dashboard. If you cancel, you keep Pro until the end of your billing period, then gracefully return to the free plan.
What happens to my settings if I downgrade?
Your Pro settings (themes, layouts, media slides) are saved, not deleted. The display will fall back to free defaults. If you upgrade again, everything is instantly restored.
What hardware do I need?
None. AzanCast works on any device with a web browser: smart TVs, Fire Sticks, tablets, laptops. Just open a URL.
How many TVs can I connect?
Free: 1 display. Pro: unlimited. Each TV gets a unique pairing code from your admin dashboard, and each display can have its own layout, theme, and language.
Is this a subscription or one-time payment?
Pro is a subscription: $169/year ($14.08/mo) or $20/month. You can cancel anytime. The free plan is free forever.
How do online donations work?
Connect your bank account via Stripe in minutes. Donors visit your custom donation page (myazancast.com/donate/your-mosque), choose an amount, and pay securely. Funds go directly to your mosque. Free plan has a 5% platform fee, Pro has just 2%.
Can I show a donation QR code on our TV?
Yes! Enable the QR overlay in your donation settings and it appears on your TV display. Congregants scan it during Jummah or any time to donate instantly from their phone.
How does live translation work?
When Jumu'ah starts, the imam opens a link on his phone and taps Start. A QR code appears on your TV display. Congregants scan it, pick their language, and see subtitles stream live on their phones as the imam speaks. No app install needed. Translation is a $15/mo add-on that works on any plan.
Can I buy translation without switching my current display vendor?
Yes. Sign up for the free plan and add translation for $15/mo. Keep using Masjidal, Mawaqit, or whatever you have. Your congregants scan the QR code or type a short code, and subtitles stream to their phones.
